I seem to have developed a slow leak in my rear passenger tire. It goes down to about 15 PSI in 4 days or so. I hope it's not the rim. What are the usual suspects for slow leaks?
Here are some bad tires being punished:
(none of these are in any way my pictures)

You know what to do? Take off your wheel and tire. Put in wash basin full or water. Identify said leak.

You picked up a foreign object. Check out the tread very carefully. Don't pull out the object unless you are prepared to plug it on the spot. This might be a good time to invest in a tire plug kit and a portable air compressor. I never leave home without them.

Could be the valve stems, do you know how old yours are?

I have a portable compressor. just no plug kit. I'll probably take it to the tire place after work.

Well then in that case, I really hope not!

Either a screw or a bead leak are very common items I've found. Take the wheel off the car, spray the whole thing with soapy water and wait a minute. You will see it become foamy on the bead if that's what is leaking. Or else you will see a screw/nail.
Are you near Boston? I'll fix it right for you!

Why waste our time with your question if your planned level of effort to toss someone the keys?

I was more or less complaining. Also, when it is free to toss someone the keys who has all the tools to do the job correctly, why wouldn't I?
